Rollag Lutheran Church
The Rollag Lutheran Church in Hawley, Minnesota, was founded in 1872 by Norwegian immigrants who settled there. The church initially held services in a log cabin until a proper church building was constructed in 1884. In 1903, to accommodate our growing congregation, the church underwent an expansion, and in 1910, a parsonage was built next to the church.
Rollag Lutheran has remained an essential part of the community, serving as a gathering place for worship, fellowship, and community events. In 1972, Rollag Lutheran Church celebrated their centennial anniversary with a special service and a historical exhibit showcasing our rich history.
Today, the Rollag Lutheran Church continues to thrive. We look forward to welcoming you to our flock.
We have a range of activities and events that allow us to come together and strengthen our relationship with God and each other.
- Our Advent Program and Seder Meal help us celebrate important religious events.
- Lenten Services provide us with an opportunity to reflect and grow.
- Our choir and Sunday School allow us to share our talents and love of God with others.
- We also have confirmation classes for our youth and a Women's Group for fellowship and service.
- We participate in Operation Christmas Child and serve at Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion.
- Our devotion to God and his teachings is reflected in our email devotions and Care Meals program.
